Hello, I am Matz and I am running for Core Group Representative in KDS. I am a year two business management student, and I was the Core Group Representative last year. Since the covid situation eased a lot this year, I am able to meet more people, host more face-to-face activities and get more chance to dance! The change from member to part of the committee and online activity to physical definitely made the experience way more enjoyable. Being a committee in KDS last year really taught me a lot of stuff, such as being responsible for members, always prioriotise the society than myself, dedicate and enjoy every performance that I had, teamwork is better than working alone and much more. Being a core group representative let me utilize my strength like customizing formations, clearing moves for demo team and use a more systematic way (beat-count, creating rundowns) to teach in tutorials. Also, as I am doing a management related course, I can apply what I learned from the module to managing core group, from hosting core group meeting to assist the running of social events, core group this year has been great and supportive to committee under clear briefings. With the experience I accumulated as core group rep last year and my adequate strength in dancing and managing, I am capable of being core group rep next year. Vote for me!
