Hi, I am Sharon, a first-year communication and media student. I started dancing a long time ago and have been into kpop dance for around 5 years. I have gained lots from KDS this past year, meeting new friends and improving my dancing skills. By joining Intercomp, Showcase and Nationals, I realized the fun of dancing in a team. Therefore, by running for the position of performance officer, I would love to manage more performances for members to enjoy dancing together. During secondary school, I joined multiple backstage crews which have allowed me to gain experiences in managing props and also made me familiar with organizing a show. In order to let everyone shine, I wish to organize more cover groups. I will also try my best to provide each team with advice and attend to all their uncertainties so that they can fully enjoy their time at KDS. Throughout the year, I have been teaching in multiple tutorials. This experience developed my leadership skills, especially with how to lead a big group of people to dance. I believe that I am qualified for this role as I am very passionate about dancing and enthusiastic about improving the society. I have gained confidence through KDS this year and I wish to transmit this energy to others. If elected for the role, I will support each and everyone passionate about dancing, providing performing opportunities as much as I can.
