Hi everyone,

Being in HinduSoc this year has been absolutely amazing and I'd love to continue making our society bigger and better next year as VP. I love organising events especially when it's about something I'm passionate about, and I promise I'm very passionate about Hindu festivals and traditions! :))

I'd love to celebrate more Tamil and other South Indian festivals, and perhaps introduce a new Kabaddi team for regionals/nationals for next year.

Hi! I'm currently a first-year Law student and I’m running for Vice President of Hindu Society because I value the sense of community, culture, and spirituality that our society brings into student life, and I’m excited at the opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.

I find that Hindu Society expands beyond a space to practice and understand our religion, but one where long-lasting friendships are formed. I’ve developed genuine friendships through this society, so I truly understand how important it is to create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere with regular, engaging events that bring people together.

I’ve been an active member, attending events regularly and taking part in NHSF Regionals, and I’m excited by the idea of helping shape our future activities by developing current ones and introducing more frequent ones. My previous experience as Vice House Captain during sixth form gave me the chance to lead over a hundred students in various events from sports to music. It also taught me how to be an approachable figure, especially for younger students, and how to step up and assist when things got busy - all qualities that I believe are vital in this role. I understand the challenge of juggling commitments, and as Vice President, I’d make sure our committee feels supported and that goals are realistic and achievable.

As Vice President, I’ll work closely with the President to support decision-making, ensure tasks stay on track, and be there for every committee member who needs support. I’m conscientious, friendly, and committed to helping Hindu Soc continue to be a space that connects likeminded individuals.
