Hi! I’m Naaz, a third-year Business Management with Marketing student, and I’m running for the role of Treasurer. Below are some of the things I have planned for the society this year!

1. Better budgeting – I’ll make sure we allocate our resources strategically so we can get the most out of our finances. This year has been great, but there’s always room to optimize!
2. Find the funds – I’ll actively seek sponsorships and funding opportunities so we can host even bigger and better events. Our society deserves it, and I’ll make sure firms see why!
3. Financial literacy workshops – I want to organize interactive workshops with industry experts to help our members gain valuable financial skills. And of course, there will be free refreshments!
4. Transparency and accessibility – I’ll ensure that all members have access to our finances in a clear and straightforward format. Understanding where our money goes shouldn’t be a mystery!

Outside of academics, I enjoy walking at Hyde Park, exploring cute hot chocolate cafes around the city and playing badminton! I am ready to provide my experiences and ideas. Let’s make WILS even better together – vote for me, Naaz, as your Treasurer! 😊

Hi, I’m Michelle, a first- year Economics student, and I’m excited to be running for Treasurer of WILS.

Being a part of WILS has genuinely been one of the highlights of my university experience so far. From inspiring panels to networking events, I’ve loved how the society brings together ambitious, like-minded women- and I want to help take than even further.

Here are a few of my key goals for the society this year:

1) Secure new funding:
I’ll work to bring in more sponsorships, partnerships, and merchandise opportunities so we can run even bigger and better events throughout the year.

2) Smarter budgeting:
I’ll ensure that our budget is spent wisely and in line with what you want- prioritizing events and initiatives that matter most to our members

3) Clear financial updates:
I’ll make society finances more transparent by sharing regular updates in a simple and easy-to-understand format, so everyone’s in the loop.

Outside of academics, I love watching sports, reading fiction, and playing tennis. I’m genuinely excited about what we can achieve together, and I’d love the opportunity to make WILS even better this year.
