The Vice President is the second most important role, supporting the President and helping lead the society throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shaping the society’s direction and goals
- Overseeing the Empower Conference Director
- Motivating the committee and maintaining strong communication
- Managing the committee’s actions with fairness and responsibility
- Acting as the main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders
- Organising and overseeing all society activities and events
- Producing the annual report and award applications
- Chairing meetings and supporting collaboration
- Assisting in all events and helping Directors where needed
- Resolving any committee or society issues
Sponsorship Management:
- Managing all sponsorships alongside the President
- Communicating with sponsors, signing contracts, and overseeing payments
- Ensuring sponsor satisfaction and fulfilling promotional commitments
- Seeking and approving new sponsorship opportunities
- Preparing sponsorship materials and scheduling sponsor calls
