Hey everyone, I’m Holly, and I’m putting myself forward for Treasurer of the BSL Society!

I’ve really enjoyed being your EDI rep on the committee this past year. It’s been a great learning experience, and I’m keen to bring that to the Treasurer role. Your feedback has been so helpful, and I want to make sure our finances line up with what you all want from the society.

BSL education is something I’m really passionate about, and I’m committed to making it more accessible. I’ll be looking into grants and funding to bring down the cost of those signature BSL courses. Let’s make sure more people get the chance to learn!

I’ll also continue to support the running of our regular teaching, putting together presentations and helping out with teaching and translation alongside other committee members. I’ll also be helping to create new and exciting events, so that everyone has a chance to practice their BSL skills outside of a ‘classroom’ environment.

I’d love the opportunity to take on the role of Treasurer and keep the BSL Society going strong. Thanks for considering me!
