How To: Get your food hygiene certificate

Anyone involved in preparing, cooking and handling food for an activity event must get their Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.

This Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene course is designed to help people comply with EU Regulation 852/2004, which requires food businesses to ensure that any employee who handles food is fully trained in food hygiene. This also applies to students holding events and activities involving homemade food.
