Join us for our second winter trip of the year, as we head to Spean Bridge in the West Highlands.

We will meet late afternoon on Friday 28th February at the School of English, where we travel by cars and vans to Spean Bridge. Transport, accommodation, breakfast and evening meals (except the night you arrive and leave the trip) are included in your ticket. We are staying at the Spean Bridge Community Centre, details of which can be found here: http://www.speanbridgecommunitycentre.org.uk/ (yes, another fancy one, don't say I don't do anything for you!)

This is one of our famous Winter trips so you must have previously been on at least one LUUHC weekend trip, attended one of our winter briefings last term and have B2 boots (plus some more winter-specific kit, see https://luuhc.com/gear-lists#winter). Once buying a ticket you will be asked to attend a crampon fitting session prior to the trip.

For those of you who have busy lives and nab yourself a 2-day ticket, you will be expected to meet us on Friday afternoon (prompt) to travel to Spean Bridge. We will then return to Leeds on Sunday evening, you might not be able to collect your bag until Monday evening when the rest of the trip returns!

For those lucky enough to have loads of free time (I'm looking at you undergrads) and choosing to go for the 3-day option you will travel with everyone on Friday. We will then return to Leeds on Monday evening.

If you can no longer make it to the trip, please contact our Club Secretary, Alice, through luuhc.secretary@gmail.com as soon as possible. If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund. Sorry, you can’t swap tickets.
