Join us for another lovely hike in the Yorkshire Dales!

We will meet by 08:15 at the Parkinson Steps to take the coach to Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales. While this area is mostly well known for its Wensleydale cheese (as seen in Wallace and Gromit!), it's a great landscape for walking, especially with features such as Lake Semerwater and Aysgill Force!

The coach will aim to depart from Hawes at 16:30, if your group is back to the village early you'll have the opportunity to visit the local pub or cafe.

As with all Sunday Hikes, we will split into 4 or 5 groups each with two volunteer leaders.

We want to make Sunday Hikes as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, you must have the following: walking boots with ankle support, a rucksack, waterproofs, appropriate layers, sufficient water (1 litre plus), and sufficient food. If you can no longer make it to the hike, please contact our Club Secretary, Florence, through luuhc.secretary@gmail.com as soon as possible. If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund.
