Windermere has a lovely range of shops and cafes for you to explore after the walk.

Detailed Description

We will walk along some of the many rivers, covering differing terrain and offering incredible views across Lake Windermere and towards many of the surrounding country houses. The trip will offer two walking options- there will be a shorter walk for those wanting to take the walk at a slower pace and a longer walk for those looking to explore some more of the hiking options in this beautiful setting.

There will be some free time after the walk to visit the many cafes and shops located on the shores of Lake Windermere. Please note that the length of time to explore the shops and cafes will depend on which route option you choose.

Transport:

We will travel via private hire coach. This is included in the ticket cost.

What you need to bring:

Please come in suitable footwear for uneven and unpaved terrain (walking boots or strong trainers). You will also need::

- A change of footwear for after the walk and a bag for your muddy footwear

- Waterproof jacket and warm clothes

- Food and drink for during the walk - a packed lunch and water bottle

- Money to purchase items in the town
