• Create agendas with president before each meeting, type up and circulate to committee

• Take minutes during each meeting, type up and circulate to committee

• Email staff to advertise events

• Check CivSoc emails

• Write newsletters (we did a termly letter outlining what we have done recently and what we plan for the coming weeks), student member update emails, Facebook posts

• Maybe write a bit for the staff newsletter

• Create Facebook events if needed

Advice:

• Email Tom Holroyd (t.holroyd@leeds.ac.uk) he can circulate emails to all of a year group or a degree or staff etc

• Borman’s usually happy to put a PowerPoint slide up in lectures advertising CivSoc events and sees the most students so you can ask to come into his lectures yourself

• Use the messages feature on the LUU admin page to easily send emails to all members
