Creative Director

I believe that both Palestinian resistance and solidarity for that resistance hold such fundamental roles in the world today. I view resistance as more than just the physical sense of the word. For example, as someone interested art, I see Palestian art as a form of resistance, as a form of sustaining Palestian culture and resisting Israel's blatant goal of ethnic cleansing. As a member of the Palestine Solidarity Group here at Leeds University, I hope to use my role to introduce and take part in forms of both resistance and solidarity for the Palestinian people against Zionism. This is part of the reason I am nomniating myself for Creative Director of the PSG, to use my artistic interests to explore new and exciting ways to resist the occupation of Palestine and to exhibit the beauty in Palestinian resistance.
