Videographer

Hi everyone! I am Jessie and I am running for the role of videographer in the RAG. I am a first-year journalism student and I would like to be a part of the RAG to explore more about running a charity and develop my filming and editing skills practically. As an international student from Hong Kong, I like to capture everything I saw in a whole new country and I love to take videos of my life as self-record and entertainment. I also know how to use Premiere Pro for editing work. I have been to Cambodia and Wuhan of Mainland China for volunteer work teaching children there and I enjoy helping people a lot. I also love to do tree planting and join community volunteer works with my church back in Hong Kong. I know it’s cliche but I still want to say — it is better to give than to receive. I am looking forward to making record of some precious moments of the RAG activities, and I would like to be a part of the RAG and help as many people as possible.

Hey! I'm Nerea, running for videographer and currently in my second year studying journalism. My first introduction to RAG was through helping out at the fashion show as a runner and I have been hoping to get more involved in highlighting the fun and important fundraising events the society puts on ever since! I'm that person who will always be taking pics and videos for the mems, so with that and my journalism background I'm prepared to fulfil the role to the best of my ability. This past year I have also been on the BOPSoc (Big Open Party) committee as events coordinator so I have experience working with a team consistently. In my past time I volunteer as video editor in online publication Empoword Journalism (working with Premiere Pro), in general I love getting involved with projects I love and that excite me, so I hope to get started with RAG next year alongside the rest of the committee and other videographer!
